Dr. med. Daniela Claessens is scientific consultant for app4eyes. e-Mail Curriculum vitaeDr. Claessens studied medicine in Paris, France and in Ulm, Germany, where she achieved her doctors degree. A research fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Hospital, Boston was focused on the impact of alpha-Interferon on macular degeneration. After her fellowship in ophthalmology at university eye clinic Düsseldorf, Dr. Claessens started working in private practice in Cologne, Germany. She got a master degree (M.Sc.) in Public Health in 2010 at Heinrich-Heine Universität Düsseldorf. Dr. Claessens works for the guideline commission of the "Berufsverband der Augenärzte BVA", is a consultant for the "Institute for quality and efficiency in health care system" (IQWIG) and an advising ophthalmologist for the german network for age-related macular degeneration "AMD-Netz". |
